Couple from the running Reebok team dispute the Half Marathon of Punta del Leste this Sunday.

Fábio and Beatriz Nascimento face na international challenge this Sunday. After disputing the opening phase of the FlexPé Sport Reebok event last weekend, the couple that are part of the running team of Reebok, will run the Half Marathon of Punta del Lest in Uruguay, and they hope to reach the podium. The event will start in front of the La Capilla Hotel at 9h30.

"We are specialists in higher speed events, like the 5 and 10 kilometers events, but I am sure we will represent Brazil very well during this event", explained Beatriz, who is 27 years old. According to her, the decision of facing this 2i kilometers course challenge, was motivated by the flat course. "It is almost impossible to find a half marathon in a flat course in Brazil and, outside of the country it is very common", added Beatriz.

Fábio is very confident that he will finish amongst the three first runners. "We are very well prepared. To participate in this type of event is very important in order to evaluate our efficiency in comparisson to the international athletes", said Fábio. Him and Beatriz are married and they have been running together for nine years, and they are amongst the ten top street runners of the country.
