27 year old athlete sponsored by Reebok came behind athlete Maria Lúcia Vieira on the challenge that took place in São Paulo; Her husband, Fábio, finished the challenge in 8th place.

São Paulo (SP) - The couple Nascimento traded their holiday rest in order to participate of the Rbk 10km - 3rd Race of Santos Dumont, street race of 10 kilometers sponsored by Reebok, and they did very well. On the feminine result, Beatriz Nascimento got the 2nd place, losing only to Maria Lucia Vieira and, on the masculine result, Fábio, her husband for already 9 years got the 8th place. The couple also counts with the support of the trademark reebok.

"I ran the whole time along with Maria Lúcia and, on the last 5 kilometers, we intensified the pace", says Beatriz Nascimento, that fought last week until the finishing line. " I lost the race on the last thirty meters", added the athlete. To her, the result was good and it is in accordance to her programming. Bia (the way people call her), finished the course in 37min12sec.

On the other hand, Fábio didn't achieve the expected results that was to finish the 10 kilometers amongst the 5 best athletes of the event. With a leg muscle problem, he finished in 8th place. "During the first five kilometers I could maintain myself amongst the elite group, but then I started feeling the contusion and I was left behind", moaned him. "Even so, I think that it was a positive result, for I finished amongst the top 10 athletes". He finished the race in 31min50sec.
