Beatriz and Fábio Nascimento finished the race in Buenos Aires in 6th and 3rd place respectively.

Last Sunday, the 11th of September, the couple Beatriz and Fábio Nascimento, athletes sponsored by Reebok, achieved a great result on the Half Marathon of Argentina, event disputed in Buenos Aires, capital of the neighbor country. Beatriz finished in 6th place, being the 2nd best Brazilian of the event. Her husband Fábio on the other hand, reached the podium, finishing in 3rd place. Fábio was also the second best Brazilian in the race, finishing only behind the champion Adriano Bastos. "It was a tough race, especially because of the cold and the wind. It was 4ºC at the time of the race", said Beatriz.

Besides the cold and the wind of Argentina, the couple also overcame other difficulties and unpredictabilities. " Our flight ticket only came on Saturday, the 10th. We had to pack really fast and head to the airport. Arriving there, we had just enough time to put our luggage in a locker and get some rest", told Beatriz, who is married with Fábio for nine years. "It was a great achievement, for even with all those difficulties, we had good results", adds the athlete that finished the 21 kilometers of the Half Marathon in 1h24min50sec. Fábio finished the race in 1h06min41sec.

Back in Brazil, the "Reebok Couple" prepares to face the ten kilometers of the Integration Event, a race that takes place in Campinas on the 2nd of October. "This race will serve as a training for the Circuit Flexpé Sport/Reebok, in which we are very well classified", said Beatriz. The fourth phase of the event FlexPé Sport/Reebok will happen on the 9th of October, in Mogi das Cruzes, inland of Sao Paulo state. "Our expectation is to win the title both in the men and women's category, finished Beatriz.
