Fábio and Beatriz Nascimento closed this Sunday a marathon of race events in their calendar; They competed the Integration Race in Campinas.

Fabio and Beatriz Nascimento participated in a strong sequence of race events over the last period. During this last Sunday, they closed this event's marathon participating of the 22nd Integration Race in Campinas, in the state of São Paulo. Beatriz finished the race in 15th place and Fábio finished in 27th place. The athletes started the race at 9h15 at the Lake Taquaral and the 10 kilometers course went through the main avenues of the city. Beatriz Nascimento closed the circuit with the time of 37min46sec and she was the 15th athlete to finish the race. With this result she accumulated scores for the ranking of the Brazilian Confederation of Track and Field of Caixa Economica Federal. " It was a good result since I intended to be amongst the 20 first athletes to win those scores" said Beatriz. Fábio didn't reach the intended mark, because he finished the race in 27th place with the time 31min58sec.

"After this marathon of race events, we will resume our training practices and analyze our calendar for the next few months". Said Beatriz. The couple participated in six competitions over the last two months, including the international half-marathon dispute in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
