Beatriz finished the 11km course of the Iguatemi Race in second place and Fábio, her husband, finished in fourth place.

Fábio and Beatriz Nascimento disputed this Sunday the Iguatemi Race in Campinas with 11km. The couple sponsored by Reebok, once again didn't let anyones' expectations down and they reached the podium in this challenge, that started in front of the Iguatemi Mall. Beatriz got the second place, finishing the race in 41min49sec. Fábio, her husband, finished the event in fourth place (35min43sec).

Amongst the 10 top street runners of the country, the couple faced the course as planned. "I think we did a pretty good race, and as we predicted, the way up and the whole race course were really tough", said Beatriz in the end of the race. Fábio, who had won the last edition of the event, had the sensation that he could have done better. "The race was really tough and the wear out of the Wet'n Wild event reflected a little bit on my result", said the athlete.

After the challenge in Campinas, the couple will only return to the competitions on the 9th of April. They will face the 10 kilometers challenge on the Santo Andre's Race in São Paulo.
